Sundays at Christ Central Church Telford
Welcome to Christ Central Telford. Join us on Sundays, 10.30am at Dawley House (TF4 2ES) for worship, teaching, prayer ministry and fellowship.
Dawley House
If you're visiting by car, approximately 300 yards before the destination, whilst driving along Station Road, turn right into the carpark (next to the Royal British Legion). Dawley House is to the left side of the car park and has 3 flag poles on the grass in front, and, on Sunday mornings, the Christ Central Telford banners on either side fo the front door.

Our worship time will begin by praising and worshipping God, a vital element in our meetings. It will be led by a group using mainly modern songs. Different people praise and worship the Lord in different ways, some quietly, some loudly. We encourage people to be themselves during this time.
We encourage members of the congregation to bring contributions, e.g. praise, prayers and Bible readings to help us all in our worship of God. We also expect the Holy Spirit to speak to us and so you may hear and see different gifts of the Holy Spirit e.g. prophecy, speaking in tongues (other God-given languages), interpretation of tongues, words of knowledge, wisdom, instruction etc.
The worship time is followed by announcements and the children will go out to their ministry areas. One of our leaders will then teach from the Bible. We aim to make the teaching as relevant as possible to our lives today.
We often have a time of prayer ministry at the end of the talk. Once per month we will celebrate communion together. At the end of the meeting we encourage everyone to stay for refreshments and have a chat so we can get to know each other better.

In TCF we love having children with us. We hope that children enjoy their time with us on Sunday mornings, learning about and experiencing more of Jesus. During the worship time we like to encourage the children to worship God at whatever level they can.
Creche (0 - 4 year olds)
We do not have a manned creche. However we do set out an area in the main meeting room at Dawley House to help families with young children to participate in the worship times in a way they can manage.
From school term after 4th birthday up to School year 6
We have a small but regular number of children in this age group and we have a team serving them. Following the time of worship (during the preaching), our team lead sessions each week with age appropriate activities to help them learn about Jesus and the truths of the Bible.
For School year 7 and upwards
We love having youth with us on Sunday mornings. However at this stage of CCT’s development we are not offering planned youth sessions on Sunday mornings. We are confident, though, the worship and the teaching is still accessible for those in Senior School - and we encourage their contributions. However, we have just started once per month youth meetings on a Saturday evening.
Prayer
We see prayer as a critically important part of church life. Both personal and corporate prayer are equally important! Our main church prayer meeting is 'Worship and Prayer', every Sunday, 6.00pm to 7.30pm at Dawley House. Everyone's welcome!
We also pray together Sundays at 9.45am, before our morning meeting, where we pray for God to move powerfully in the meeting and for those who are serving in the meeting.
We often pray together in Home Groups, for family, friends, neighbours and workmates, and for one another as we meet various challenges in life.
